Cyberpunk 2077 is doing numbers in terms of sales and the number of players online. One other thing it is doing numbers in, is the sheer amount of bugs players are encountering. As much as they want to enjoy the game, these issues seem to hinder progress. One of these annoying bugs is the Delamin Quest Phone Bug.
The issue starts with the Delamain quest. The square indicators which contain faces upon calls stay empty. They only display the Delamain Tag. The main issue is to open the phone which the player cannot. By default, it is done with “T” on the keyboard, but upon entering the input nothing happens. We have a possible solution to this issue. Let’s check it out…
How to fix Delamain Phone Bug
*UPDATE* Hotfix 1.05 is out now.
As pointed out by some players, destroying the cars in your immediate environment is a possible solution to this problem. You can get confused as to which car to destroy since there are quite a few there. Simply destroying any random car should work for you. The mission will fail, but now you will be able to skip that part and progress further in the game.
You can also try to load any previous saves and try to play through them. The chances of this fixing the bug are pretty slim, but it has worked for some players, so give it a go!
These are suggestive fixes and may or may not work for you. For a lot of players, they cannot use the phone or the screen entirely across the game. If this is the case then you need to wait for a hotfix to hopefully address the issue. You can report bugs to their Technical Support — CD PROJEKT RED
Do let us know your thoughts down in the comments below. We are also hoping a major hotfix for a lot of bugs that the game has. We will try to troubleshoot as many of them as possible for the time being so stay posted with us. Thanks for reading!
