Death Stranding Best PC Graphics Settings for FPS

We will list down our PC specifications for you to cross-reference, to get a clear idea. Also, make sure you meet the minimum system requirements for the game.

  • Display Resolution – 1920×1080 (This is my native resolution and I will suggest you stick to your native resolution as well)
  • Display Mode – Fullscreen (Fullscreen gives me the best performance and visuals. You can also try borderless)
  • Maximum Frame Rate – 240
  • Vsync – Off (If you have a lower-end system, you can turn this ON to avoid FPS Jumps)
  • Graphics Quality – Custom
  • Model Detail – Default (I went with the default Model details and it turned out to be fine)
  • Memory for Streaming – Default
  • Shadow Resolution – Low (Shadows always take up more resources from the GPU and CPU, so it is best to keep it Lowest possible)
  • Ambient Occlusion – Off (This did not make much of a difference on performance so this one is optional)
  • Screen Space Reflections – Off (SSR takes up resources, and if you are running an entry-level system like mine, keep this setting OFF)
  • Fidelity FX CAS – On
  • Anti-Aliasing – TAA (TAA gives me smooth edges without many graphics issues)
  • Sharpness – 50 (You can make this 60 if TAA is too strong for you. 50 was fine for me)
  • Depth of Field – Off (DOP renders more graphics and can hog performance, so I keep this OFF)
  • Motion Blur – Off (I personally do not like Motion Blur in games like Death Stranding, so it is OFF for me)

Our System Specification used to test

  • RAM: G.Skill RIPJAWS V 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz Dual Channel

The above specs, combined with the settings given, fetched us an average of 60FPS with Vsync Off. You can turn on Vsync and check stability by capping the FPS. Overall, for a 1050TI the performance and Frame Rates are decent enough.

There is room for more juice if you turn down the TAA in Anti-Aliasing. The rest of them are already optimally set. If you face any issues during or after the setup, let us know in the comments below. We will try to address it as soon as possible.

Having that said, we will conclude this guide on Death Strandings’ best Graphics Settings for PC.

That is all!
