How To Disable Forced Aim Smoothness In Destiny 2

Bungie has made the error to force mouse smoothing. This can be fixed by editing the cvar.xml file.
Firstly you would need to exit the game and go to the Home screen.
And then follow these steps:

  • Press Windows + R and type %appdata%
(If you don’t have a Windows Key, right-click the Windows icon in the bottom left corner, or go to Start Menu and select Run.)
  • Go to Bungie\DestinyPC\prefs\cvars.xml
  • Right click & edit cvars.xml
  • Use CTRL + F & type Smoothing and change from 2 to 0.
  • Save & close, right-click cvars.xml
  • click Properties & turn Read-Only on. (this is done to ensure that your changes are saved and you don’t need to repeat the same)
