Season 17 of Destiny 2, Season of the Haunted, has given players several exciting and eye-catching weapons. They can be used expertly in Player vs Player (PvP) and Player vs Environment (PvE) modes.
Alongside giving you loads of great updates and rolls, these weapons stand out due to their differing super qualities. One of the new ones is the Forgiveness Sidearm with some standout god roll. It has some incredible perks that will heighten most Arc loadouts.

However, its best quality is the Aggressive Burst Frame, which means it shoots a two-round burst. Though the hits will not be as damaging as from Peacebond, for example, the Arc 3.0 update coming soon will certainly help your cause for the future.
The following guide will help players with how to get and use Forgiveness to the best of their abilities in Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted.
Destiny 2: How to find Forgiveness Sidearm
First things first, the Forgiveness Sidearm cannot be crafted in Destiny 2. It has no pattern and cannot make use of the better perks which arrive in the game.
Therefore, the only way to get Forgiveness is through Trials of Osiri’s quests and Engrams. Furthermore, another way is to reach rank 16 with Saint-14 in the Tower. Trials of Osiris will be back on Destiny 2 from June 10.

Players can get the Forgiveness Sidearm from Master Rahool by saving Trails of Engrams. As Master Rahool solves them, you will be able to earn any piece of weapon or gear, even if you do not possess it yourself.
This way is similar to how Iron Banner Engrams can be focused with Lord Saladin to get Hero’s Buden SMG, you can do the same with Trials of Engrams can be made into extra Forgiveness rolls in Destiny 2.
The best rolls for Forgiveness Sidearm
There are a number of great rolls for PvP and PvE settings with the Forgiveness Sidearm in Destiny 2. These include:
- PvP: Hammer-Forged Rifling, Polygonal Rifling, Fluted Barrel, and Extended Barrel
- PvE: Corkscrew Rifling, Ricochet Rounds, High-Caliber Rounds, and Flared Magwell.
The PvE options work great with PvP as well, while some more choices for PvE include Extended Mag and Appended Mag. Players wanting to know the third add fourth column perks should look for the below combinations:
- Demolitionist/Vorpal Weapon: This is a great option for PvP combat, with Super active and Champions used against Guardians when a Sidearm mod is needed.
- Subsistence/Multikill Clip: The latter’s advantage includes filling the magazine with Subsistence. However, the former does not proc the latter.
- Well-Rounded/Adrenaline Junkie: Not as good as the next combination, this combination works well for players in PvE action.
- Demolitionist/Adrenaline Junkie: A perfect combination for beginner and endgame quests, which includes the Duality Dungeon. Therefore, this one will be the most used by players.
