Destiny 2 – How To Get Perpetualis And Its God Roll

Every new season of Destiny 2 promises new weapons and this time, it is no different. Season of Defiance along with the Lightfall expansion has brought several great pieces with the Perpetualis Kinetic Strand Auto Rifle being a great one.

The focus of this season has been to create the most powerful Strand builds which are where the Perpetualis can really shine. That is why players should definitely aim to go for this weapon as soon as possible in the game in order to take on enemies and progress further. In that regard, the following guide will help players in understanding all about the Perpetualis and its god roll

Destiny 2: Season of Defiance – How to get Perpetualis Kinetic Strand Auto Rifle

The Perpetualis has a 600 RPM with an Adaptive Frame, which underlines its strength and reliability. The Noble Deeds Origin Trait allows you to get a bonus of Handling or Reload Speed every time you help your teammates, heal them, or capture Subclass or Overshield buffs. However, any kills will lessen one Noble Deed.

Players looking for Perpetualis do not have to go very far. It can be gotten via looting Defiant Chests using Defiant Keys after the completion of Defiant Battlegrounds. The other way is to focus Defiant Engrams on the weapon itself. After you have your hands on five Perpetualis patterns, players can create their own God Roll with even better perks.

Here are the base stats for the Perpetualsi Kinetic Strand Auto Rifle:

  • Stability: 35
  • Range: 43
  • Reload Speed: 58
  • Handling: 62
  • Impact: 21

Destiny 2: Season of Defiance – Best God Roll for Perpetualis

PvP

The main focus of players should be on Range as much as possible. Extended Barrel is a great choice as it will better your Range (+10) and reduce Recoil (-10). The importance of Accurized Rounds in PvP cannot be overstated as they increase Range (+10) and make no big fuss elsewhere.

When it comes to the Perks, go for Keep Away in the first column. It is a standout perk for Perpetualis as it betters Range (+10), and Reload Speed (+10) and lessens Accuracy Cone Size (-10) when there are no opponents inside 15 meters.

The importance of these perks makes it very easy for players to take out enemies large distances away. The Perk for the second column should be Target Lock which gives weapon damage the more you are locked on a target. You will get 12.5% of the magazine after hitting. translating to a 16.73% increase in damage. The five-time stack grants you 110.5% as you use 40% of the magazine.

PvE

Destiny 2 - Lightfall - Perpetualis god rolls

When it comes to PvE combat, you would want to keep a check on increasing Stability and lowering Recoil. The Arrowhead Brake barrel is what you equip for this, given it decreases Recoil (-30) and improves Handling (+10).

Perpetualis has great Recoil so this is a blessing. Pairing that with Tactical Mag is key as it will increase Reload Speed (+10) and Stability (+5) while bettering the size of the magazine by eight rounds

For the first column perk, Killing Wind is the best Perk, slightly edging out Envious Assassin. Killing Wind betters Mobility (+50), Handling (+40), and Range (+20) when it comes to final strikes from Perpetualis. You will also receive a five-second, 5% improvement to damage fall-off distance which continues through more final hits.

Players looking for a great Perk for the second column should go for Hatchling as the precision final hits will spawn Threadlings where the targets are. It is perfect news for creating the supreme Strand Warlock builds as well as inflicting an immense amount of damage with the Threadlings themselves. The other Perk to use if you are not finding this good is Demolitionist.

Thus, that is all the information players will need when it comes to the Perpetualis and its god rolls in Destiny 2’s Season of Defiance. It is a great weapon that players can use in a variety of situations all throughout the game.
