Trespasser and Catalyst guide d2

Destiny 2: Season of the Haunted- Trespasser and its Catalyst

Trespasser is an Exotic Sidearm in Destiny 2: Season of the Haunted. Keeping true to its predecessor, this weapon inflicts Arc elemental damage on its enemies. However, there has been one great upgrade.

The trespasser’s intrinsic trait is now ‘Unrepentant.’ What it does is players (Guardians), having received a killing blow, will be able to reload the weapon which activates the Unrepentant.

Now, Guardians can fire off a six-round burst instead of the regular three to deal heavy damage. However, the Unrepentant’s effect will wear off if the 10-second recharge period is crossed or the Guardians fail to defeat a target with the next shot.

You can use the Trespasser to defeat Bapresrrier Champions in the game. That has many added benefits. Having finished the introduction, you will be able to receive the Nightmare Harvester artifact. Guardians will get two of the 25 armor mods. Moreover, the Anti-Barrier Champion mod, which is made for Sidearms, can be got too.

Therefore, the Trespasser will be very beneficial for final tasks like Lost Sectors and Nightfalls.

How to get the Trespasser Sidearm

Trespasser will be present to everyone in the game, no matter if you have got the Season Pass or not. However, there is an added benefit for players who buy the Season Pass as they will be able to use Trespasser instantly from the first level. Players who have bought the Season Pass will receive the Trespasser at Level 35.

Moreover, players with Season Pass are also eligible to receive the weapon here. The Trespasser rewards an ornament for players reaching Level 100. Players should try to get Trespasser early on in the game, given it can also be used in Player vs Player (PvP) and Player vs Environment (PvE) modes. Definitely one of the strongest Sidearms the game has ever launched.

How to get and Complete Trespasser’s Catalyst

Players need to approach Banshee-44 in the Tower for the No Trespassing Exotic quest. The quest will not take too much time to finish, given it only has three levels. These are:

  • Go to the Trostland in the EDZ and defeat 50 Fallen.
  • Once you have reached the EDZ, alongside beating the Fallen, you will automatically get 50 targets with Arc damage. Trespasser’s signature power will help you complete both these tasks simultaneously.
  • Having achieved the above, the final task is to defeat 50 targets with headshots. You can finish the mission in the EDZ itself and can find more in Lost Sectors.

Now, having received the Catalyst from Banshee-44, Guardians need to rack up 700 kills in order to activate the Catalyst. One of the biggest additions will be the Tunnel Vision, which betters target aim speed and aim-down sight speed. Furthermore, players can complete the Gambit, Vanguard, and Crucible awards with the Trespasser and the Catalyst.

Therefore, make sure to maximize the potential of Trespasser and its huge power. Paired with the Catalyst, it can be a deadly combination if used well.
