Destiny 2: Season Of The Seraph – All Seasonal Challenges In Week 5

The latest season of Destiny 2 is chugging along well with plenty of holiday-themed fun for everyone to enjoy. Season of the Seraph is now in its fifth week, and players are beginning to understand better what is expected from them across the various challenges and quests. Nevertheless, there is always something new on offer every week, and the same is true for this week.

Players are in line to get a lot of XP and Bright Dust through Heist Battlegrounds, Vanguard, Iron Banner, and more. Additionally, some of the challenges this week are also retroactive, meaning you have played them earlier.

Even if you have not, there is undoubtedly some progression you have made in terms of being a regular player of the season. In that regard, the following guide looks at all the Seasonal Challenges and how to finish them for the prizes.

Destiny 2 - Season of the Seraph - Week 5 Seasonal Challenges

Destiny 2: Season of the Seraph – All Seasonal Challenges Week 5

Iron Sharpens Iron

Players will have to go through the playlist to finish the Iron Banner matches as they make their mark twice in a season. You will win 15% progress if you emerge victorious and somewhat less when defeated. Nevertheless, you will have to participate in a fair number of battles, so make sure you are getting a high reputation rather than only winning.

The rewards for this completion are:

  • 150 Bright Dust
  • 50,000 XP

Umbral Focusing II

You will have to focus a particular weapon or armor piece at the Exo Frame present in the H.E.L.M. but be aware of not selecting anything Seraphic as they give zero progress. Another nice tip to have is that armor pieces cost much less than weapons so you will have a getaway as well in this regard. Players can progress further by having the correct Exo Upgrades, giving them more options.

You will be rewarded with 25,000 XP upon finishing this challenge and one of the retroactive challenges of Week 5.

More Than A Weapon V

Part five of the main Seasonal  Challenge has you interacting with the Exo Frame at the H.E.L.M. to finish the objectives before taking down 250 Hive or Taken opponents across any activity of your choice. Your best bets would be the Shuro Chi in Last Wish, Moon and Mars Heist Battlegrounds, or Lost Sectors. Players must carry weapons with Incandescent, Voltshot, and other AoE effects.

The prizes for finishing this Challenge are:

  • 25,000 XP
  • Exo Frame Module

Destiny 2 - Season of the Seraph - Completing activities week 5

Fell And Fallen

Players must defeat five Fallen and five Hive bosses in Vanguard Ops or Nightfall activities. You will finish this easy challenge by the time you acquire Veles-X.

The rewards for finishing this are:

  • 150 Bright Dust
  • 50,000 XP

Timeless Iteration

Another retroactive challenge where you will be tasked with going after Veles-X, the ritual weapon of this season. You will get it by leveling up to Rank 16 by one of Shaxx (Crucible), Drifter (Gambit), or Zavala (Vanguard Ops). Once you have got to Rank 17, you can interact with either of the three to get the weapon. Vanguard Ops will be your best bet, and you will get a better reputation by sticking to only one.

In the coming weeks, you will be going for all the associated ornaments, too, so do try to build up your reputation with all the vendors. The rewards for this week are:

  • 150 Bright Dust
  • 50,000 XP

Destiny 2 - Season of the Seraph - Heist Battlegrounds

Quick Heists

A third retroactive challenge and an indication of what this can be is something that players may have seen already. The Seasonal Challenges can be flashing since you began, leading to this particular objective. Players must complete a Heist Battleground in less than 12 minutes on any difficulty.

You will be receiving 25,000 XP upon completion.

Heist Battlegrounds IV

The final retroactive challenge from this week, but it is unlikely you have finished this already. You will have seen off five Champions, which is straightforward with anti-Champion effects alongside finishing 25 Heist Battlegrounds. The latter is the central proposition, as the battles are much more complex, including the addition of a Power penalty and many enemies.

  • Titans: Players must take help from Storm Grenades when they are Striker and include Touch of Thunder. It can mesh together with Elemental Well and Heart of Inmost Light as mods.
  • Hunters: Arcstrider can do with Assassin’s Cowl when joined forces with Flow State, Combination Blow, and Lethal Current. The last boss will be taken care of by One-Two Punch Shotgun and Tractor Cannon.
  • Warlocks: Dawnblade pairs considerably with Sunbracers and Starfire Protocol. Sunbracers are easier to play around with as they give you more significant movement and clearing, but you will need Fragment and other mods to function well.

You will be awarded 25,000 XP and Exo Frame Module when you finish it.

Thus, that is all the information players will need when discussing all the Seasonal Challenges in Week 5. They are a good mix of easy and challenging objectives that can be completed with some focused gameplay, and upon finishing all of them, we advance to the following week.
