Destiny 2: The Hero’s Burden PvP And PvE God Rolls

The return of some favorite weapons in Destiny 2 has been a great source of joy for players. These weapons have been reworked to fit the current climate as best as possible and one of the great ones has been The Hero’s Burden legendary submachine gun. It is the only Adaptive Frame SMG with Void powers, meaning it is special among the various others of the subclass including the likes of Unforgiven, Funnelweb, and more.

Being a part of the Season of the Haunted, players can get their hands on the great weapon and start using it as soon as possible. It has a great pair of god rolls, with the PvP one being a superb force. When it comes to obtaining the gun and using the god rolls, the following guide will help players in knowing how to go about it.

Destiny 2 - The Hero's Burden

Destiny 2: How to get The Hero’s Burden SMG

Like the other Void SMGs, you will not be able to craft The Hero’s Burden in the game. Given how powerful it is in the PvP scenario, it should be great to have the gun nonetheless. Players have to grind through the Iron Banner which is the seasonal quest, and earn the weapon.

You can also get lucky and get the gun from a random drop of the Iron Banner playlist. Additionally, you will be able to get The Hero’s Burden by focusing Iron Banner engrams with Lord Saladin but you will have to already have via the quest or unlocking engrams with Master Rahool. This will unlock the weapon and you would be able to get your hands on it.

Here are the base stats of the weapon when you acquire it:

  • Range: 44
  • Reload Speed: 1.93s
  • Magazine: 33
  • Stability: 40
  • Rounds Per Minute: 900
  • Impact: 20
  • Handling: 59
  • Recoil: 93
  • Inventory: 43

It has two Basic Origin Traits to choose from with Skulking Wolf and Suros Synergy. The former will increase your radar when on low health as you hit final blows and remove you from the opponents’ radar while the latter’s reloading will increase handling and reduce flinch for a while.

Destiny 2: Best god rolls for The Hero’s Burden

PvP

  • Perk 1: Kill Clip
  • Perk 2: Feeding Frenzy
  • Magazine: Ricochet Rounds
  • Barrel: Smallbore
  • Masterwork: Range
  • Mod: Icarus

Destiny 2 - The Hero's Burden god rolls

Smallbore barrel will increase your range and stability by +7 each. Ricochet Rounds is a great choice as it enhances Range (+5) and Stability (+10). The combination of Kill Clip and Feeding Frenzy is virtually unbeatable together in The Hero’s Burden as the former gives you better damage as you reload after a hit by 33% while the latter enhances reload time after rapid strikes.

PvE

    • Perk 1: Feeding Frenzy
    • Perk 2: Kill Clip
    • Magazine: Light Mag
    • Barrel: Hammer-Forged Rifling
    • Masterwork: Stability / Range
    • Mod: Spec Mod

The Hero’s Burden Void SMG is great for PvP and that is why you may not use it for PvE that often. Hammer-Forged Rifling increases Range (+10) with Light Mag bettering Range (+5) as well as Reload Speed (+10). The Kill Clip and Feeding Frenzy duo stands strong in this department so no changes here.

Thus, that is all the information players will need when it comes to The Hero’s Burden and its god rolls. While typically superior in the PvP domain, players can continue using it during PvE combat as well to make some great progress.
