Diablo Immortal: How To Use Controller For PC And Mobile

The release of the much-awaited reiteration of the Diablo franchise, titled Diablo Immortal has finally been released. After several complaints about the last edition, Blizzard has finally taken the game to heart. The game has a Battle Pass and other in-game transactions, for both its PC and Mobile versions.

One thing that has been a welcome move for the entire gaming community is the use and adaptability of a controller. Whether it be the PC or mobile game, Diablo Immortal has controller support.

The gameplay is better and players can certainly rank up in a quicker time, as opposed to other methods. Furthermore, as more AAA-like games transfer to mobile, the need for a controller is paramount.

Titles like Apex Legends Mobile and Valorant Mobile should take a leaf out of this book and bring controller addition to their respective games. The Diablo franchise has been heavily using a mouse and keyboard in its previous versions. However, these pieces of equipment cannot be translated into the mobile game.

Therefore, the developers decided to bring in a controller support which has been heralded by all. The following guide will provide players with the run-through of the various controller types and keys across Diablo Immortal.

Diablo Immortal: The different controllers across devices

For mobile players, connecting a controller to play the game is very easy. Here’s how it can be done:

  • Go to the Bluetooth option in Settings menu
  • Switch your controller on
  • The name of the controller will appear on under “devices available”
  • Select the controller name and the two will pair automatically
  • If you cannot find the controller under the devices list, you may need to press a button the controller itself too

For PC players, there are two different ways to connect controller to play Diablo Immortal:

  1. Using a wired USB controller, simply plug it in and play.
  2. If you are having a non-wired Bluetooth controller, you have to follow the below steps:
  • Go to the Settings menu and select Devices
  • You will see all the devices already connected to the PC
  • Click on the box that says “Add Bluetooth or other device”
  • Now turn on your controller
  • Your PC should automatically connect with the controller present
  • If you are having problems, check for a button the controller itself or make sure you are using a controller which is compatible with your system
