As expected, there is a fantastic relationship between you and your lieutenants which is explored through the gameplay. One of the most areas regarding Digimon is Digivolution.
This is where your Digimon evolves into even more powerful variants. However, the process to Digivolve in the game is different than what you may be used to earlier.
You will have to keep on playing through the main story in order to get the ability of Digivolve. As it can get confusing for players, the following guide will give you a run-through of how to go about achieving Digivolution.

First things first, the choice of your Digimon will dictate how the Digivolve process happens in the game. Digimon like Agumon, Falcomon, Labramon, and others whom players can befriend during their journey into the game will Digivolve as the story progresses.
Then players will be able to select which version of Digimon they want in battle, which will cost them a fixed amount of SP. Agumon’s evolution will depend on your choices in the game as Karma plays an important role in deciding how the Digimon evolves in the future.
On the other hand, Digimon whom you befriend in the course of Free Battles will need items for Digivolution. Furthermore, you cannot return them to their base form once they evolve too.
The same goes for Guilmon too which players will get if they get the game within the first month of its launch. You will get the ability to evolve them after finishing Part 1 where Agumon evolves. But make sure to examine the shrine beforehand, otherwise, the maiden evolution item will only be gotten after the next part finishes with battling Fangmon.
Now you will also have Falcomon and Labramon able to get to their first Digivolution forms. However, once you have the items, just go to the “Stats” menu and then choose your Digimon, before clicking the “Evolution” option to select the form.
Players are also advised to know some peculiarities about some of the Digimon. A few can be evolved but their Digivolved versions you can befriend later on in the story. On the other hand, several will share Digivolutions alongside the main journey Digimons. Therefore, make sure to thoroughly know who can be befriended in the game in order to make smart choices.

Digimon Survive: How to get Mature Enlightenment Slabs
The items that aid Digivolution in the game. You can get the Mature Enlightenment Slabs after ending Part 2 as you go to the Inner Shrine and check it yourself.
Additionally, you can get more Slabs before battling Fangmon and winning in three turns or less. Once Part 2 is crossed, you will be receiving the Slabs from any kind of drops as you beat some Champion Digimon in Free Battles.
