How To Get To The Roundtable Hold Fast In Elden Ring
Foreword
Much like Dark Souls’ Firelink Shrine and Bloodborne’s Hunter Stream, Elden Ring also has a central hub area filled with grumpy merchants and NPC’s called the Round Table Hold. But how do you get there in typical fashion?
It’s not made entirely clear how you reach the Round Table Hold, but luckily for you folks, we figured out a way to send you there as quickly as possible so you can get some nice hugs from the hug lady! I’m spider.monkey and this is how to reach the Round Table Hold early in Elden Ring.
The Fastest Route To Reach Roundtable Hold
There have been plenty of theories on how you trigger the moment where Melina whisks you off to the Round Table Hold. You can get there by just progressing through the game normally and resting at various Sites of Grace.
However, if you want to get there as soon as you can, we’ve deduced that Melina will typically invite you to the hold when you visit one of two Sites of Grace. The first one is the Stormveil main gate Site of Grace, which can be accessed right after you defeat Margit the Fell Omen.
However, beating Margit when you’re just starting out and are very under-leveled could be a fairly difficult task. Hell, it’s difficult at most stages in this game so here’s a much faster route.
Liurnia Of The Lakes
After you rest at the Gate front Ruins Sight of Grace, Melina should arrive to offer an Accord and give you the Spectral Steed Whistle Ring. You’ll now be able to summon Torrent, your new fancy horse friend. Follow the path to Stormveil Castle while riding Torrent.
To bypass all of the soldiers in this area, instead of heading towards the castle, you’re going to want to travel to the broken bridge. If you happen to run into this creepy lady who wants to look at your fingers, then you’re going the right way.
At the end of the bridge, you’ll find this Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook. Hop down to the left side of this broken bridge and head along the cliffside path, right past the various packs of wolves that live here.
You should eventually be in the Liurnia of the Lakes region where you’ll see the lakeside-facing cliffs Site of Grace. Rest at it and Melina should appear again to take you to your new home away from home, at the Round Table Hold.
What To Do After Reaching Roundtable Hold
This round table in the middle with all the swords sticking out of it will act as a Sight of Grace and you’ll now be able to fast travel here by using your map. Once you’re at the Round Table Hold, you should talk to the various NPC’s around here like Brother Corhyn who will sell you incantations.
You will also meet Diallos, who will keep going on about some lady named Lanya. There will be Gideon, who’s just a big silly old grump. There’s this guy who leans and will teach you how to lean I guess. Then you have the creepy twin maiden husks who will sell you some good items.
- There’s also this weird-looking blacksmith guy and of course, the hug lady (her name is Fia) who will hug you and drain five percent of your maximum health until you use the Baldachin’s Blessing item that she gives you.
- You may also see this NPC named Roderika, who you may have run into, over at Stormhill shack.
- You should talk to her right away and then speak to the Blacksmith about her and then just keep talking to both of them.
- It’ll eventually be revealed that she’s a Spirit Tuner. After resting at the sight of grace she’ll set up shop and she can get to upgrading your Spirit Summons.
