FIFA does not have any in-game option to tweak settings. The only options to change them are found in the launcher when you press play. Click on the Game Settings and follow as shown:

Resolution

Set this to Native. For us, it is 1920×1080. Put it to Fullscreen. If you opt for other modes, you can potentially lose from 10-15 FPS.

Rendering Quality

Optimally, set this to Low. If you want a better visual experience, you can put this to Medium also. Do not go High or Ultra since it can hog a lot of FPS.

MSAA Options

Set this to Off. If you have a decent rig, you can opt for 2X but do not go for 4X since it takes up a lot of Framerates for a nice visual experience.

Frame Rate

Set this to “No limit on FPS.” This will unlock the Highest Frame Rates possible for your system. If you have a 60Hz monitor you can cap it to 60FPS also. For anything higher, it is ideal just to unlock this option.

Performance and FPS Boost Tips

1. Optimizing Windows Settings

Go to the search bar and type “Game Mode.” Open the window and make sure the option is “OFF”. Also, make sure that the “XBOX Gamebar” is set to OFF. In the Captures Tab, Turn off all the options.

2. Updating NVIDIA and AMD Drivers

Make sure your respective drivers are up to date and ready to go! These Driver releases can sometimes fix entire lag or stuttering issues.
