Results and Tips for More FPS and Performance

The average FPS I got with the above system and settings was 165-170. The game is surprisingly well-optimized. My experience so far with other such titles was not that fun. This one, even with RTX ON, did not cause too many issues for me.

As for tips on improving performance and FPS, if you are running on a lower-tier system, say the following rigs:

  • Ryzen 5 3600 and 1660
  • I3 8100 and 1650
  • I5 12th gen and 1660 or RTX 2060

You should ideally lower the FSR and dial down the High settings to medium. Avoid shadows at all costs to remove any kind of FPS and lag issues. Shadows are infamous for taking up a lot of resources in immersive games like Ghostwire: Tokyo.

On the other hand, for higher-end systems, except for shadows on medium, you can run the game on default settings. You can even turn it up to All-High or to Ultra for some settings. It will run smoothly since the game is quite optimized.
