God Of War: Ragnarok | How To Increase Kratos’ Max Rage

Fans of the God of War series eagerly anticipated the release of God of War: Ragnarok. They have already begun their exhilarating voyage in the Norse World with Kratos and Atreus.

However, because this installment is only available on the PlayStation, this possibility is only available to PlayStation users.

If you’ve played the earlier games, you’ve definitely heard of Kratos’ Max Rage. This article will show you how to boost Kratos’ Max Rage in God of War Ragnarok.

Max Rage in God Of War Ragnarok- How to Boost?

Rage is one of the dated characteristics from earlier games that God of War Ragnarok has brought back, as is clear to players. Rage was a very useful trait in God of War, and it still has some purpose in this game.

When Rage is active, Kratos can severely injure his foes. So it makes sense that players would desire to raise their Max Rage.

You may have observed that wearing armor and other items to boost your maximum rage fills the meter quickly but depletes it more slowly.

Thus, that is not the proper technique to raise Max Rage. Players must locate the Nornir Chests in the world and obtain Horns of Blood Mead from them in order to raise the Max Rage.

If you have played the prior games, you are also familiar with the Nornir Chest. The nine kingdoms are filled with Nornir chests that must be located and opened in order to access the contents.

For Kratos’s maximum Rage to be increased, three Horn of Blood Mead are needed. Your Max Rage will grow each time you obtain three Horn of Blood Mead.

That is all there is to know regarding raising Max Rage in God of War Ragnarok. Upgrade Fury as well if you want your Rage Meter to last longer. Players can access it through the Upgrade menu. Fury is upgradeable three times.

Max Rage: Kratos

Increasing maximum rage helps in unleashing a devastating attack for Kratos which is practically unstoppable. Rage attacks are hard-hitting and usually take away chunks of enemies’ health.

The duration is short so you may want to use it wisely and only in clutch situations where it is most needed.

Press L3 + R3 to use the coveted “Spartan Rage” and watch Kratos wreak havoc on the enemies. Use a combination of Light attacks (R1) along with one or two heavy attacks (R2).
