As the two of you make your way, there will come a point in the jungle where you encounter two large animals whom Kratos defeats. Once that is done, the actual quest will start, with the first objective being getting up the level of the dam.
Whilst running after the beasts vanish, you will ascend a platform and head right. There are brambles blocking your way to what appears to be a chamber beyond.
Kratos will attempt to break them down using the Blades of Chaos, but ultimately you will require Sigils, which are an expert in clearing these items.
After the brambles disappear, the father-son duo will find a lift that will take you up to a new platform. You will have to make quick of a guard before finding a narrow entry path to the right, which will have to be cleared once again.
This is the place where you will find a few creatures and the all-important wheel of the dam, which is stuck. The reason why is brambles and a supposed marker, all of which are present beside the doorways of the dam, which are currently lowered, thereby preventing the water from flowing.
Once you reach the brambles in front of the wheel, it is time for the Sigils arrows again. Place a few of them on the brambles, all placed on the wall and marker of the dam.
You may need a few attempts to find the correct places, but make sure they are close to the bramble on the adjoining walls.
Kratos will use his Blades of Chaos to cause the chain reaction, which will have Mimir comment that the wheel can now be turned again.
Indeed, you will be able to get the wheel going; with the doorways being lifted, the water comes gushing out to the other side.
Atreus is overjoyed at the fact that animals will return to the jungle now, while Kratos is his usual somber self, stating this is not his ultimate goal. Nevertheless, it is a win for them, as Mimir reminds him, and the Favor is now complete.
Thus, that is all the information players will need when it comes to restarting the water supply in the jungle.
