God of War Ragnarok: How to reach the Mists of Helheim Heavy Runic location
Kratos and Freya will start the journey to the runic at the Cliffside Ruin near the Boat Dock in Vanaheim as shown below. When you land at the location, you will have to move to your left and climb up a wall.
Having reached up there, Kratos will jump across some platforms to come across a ledge with rocks which you will have to blast down using Sigils arrows in order for Freya to unlock a passage for you to travel via boat.
Kratos and Freya will get on the boat and enter a cave after some journey, where you will have to run across the passage and climb up a wall, cross a ledge, and then use a chain to get to the bottom-level platform.
Move to the right of the platform till the ledge shows up and you will be in view of the chest, with a big rock and wall blocking your way. Once again, it is time to use the Sigils arrows that will knock down the structure.
Use as many arrows as you need, and after it breaks down, get down to in front of the chest.
You will notice a fiery pot to the left of the chest which you will have to blast using Kratos’ axe. The Mists of Helheim await players inside the chest, which will build an AOE on the floor for players to use their axe in battles.
You can increase the time it remains by upgrading the runic. This can be a great item to have for players as they build through the game.
