Hogwarts Legacy: What is the character creation process
Firstly, players must remember as they begin this creation process that some aspects of their character cannot be changed later in the game. That is why it is crucial to select them as per your liking in the first attempt itself.
Things like the color of your skin, tone and voice, pitch, the shape of your face, and dormitory work are set in stone once the character is created.
When it comes to choosing styles, there are some options for players through the preset, which will give the basic shape to your character. Once you select your character base, we move on to the following steps:
- Facewear: You can select shapes, skin, accessories, and more. You can add glasses throughout your journey as they unlock with the story.
- Players who have already signed up with their Fan Club account will also see the Beaked Skull Mask and House Fanatic Robe.
- Hairstyle: All the hairstyles in the game are available for everyone, never mind if you have chosen your character to be male or female.
- Complexion: The finer details of your face, including moles, scars, marks, and more. This is where you can get an in-depth look at how your character would shape up after its creation.
- Eyebrows: The eye color, eyebrows shape, and color can be chosen through this tab to give the finishing touches.
Once done, you can save your character and play the game, as usual, to go onto the Sorting Hat process. As mentioned above, there are specific areas that players can change at any point in the game.
The barbershops have the scissors icon on the map, and you can visit these places to change your hairstyle, eyebrows, and more. It will cost you in Galleons, depending on the service you avail. The shops are available all around the map, especially in Hogsmeade.
