My Time At Sandrock | How To Get Bronze Pickhammer On First Day

This guide will show you how to on the first day, get a stylish Pickhammer so you can pound those rubbish piles with ease in the game My Time At Sandrock. Yes, I understand that there is no need to accelerate the game; however, with stamina utilization as it is now, I devised this approach so that my future characters would get off to a faster start and spend less time sitting on the bench. Check it out below.

How To Get Bronze Pickhammer On First Day In My Time At Sandrock

Because this strategy can take a long time on the first day, I recommend slowing down the game to allow it. You may not have enough time or stamina to finish the Bronze Pickhammer if you waste time or stamina on other resources.

Initial Phase

Between Tailor Made and By The Stairs is a workshop that occasionally has a bronze ingot on the furnace outdoors, but this method does not require it. If you encounter Owen, ask him for some free stamina food so you may finish up the rest of the scrap at the end of the day.

The sooner you get your Bronze into the furnace, the more time you’ll have at the end of the day to use it. Make a character and reduce the game speed to 0.5 in the settings menu.

Workshop Requirements

Complete the story quest until you are asked to make a Pickhammer. Collect everything you can from the three junk piles that surround your workshop (5-7 wood/5-7 stone). At the Worktable, make a rudimentary Pickhammer (2 Wood/4 Stone).

Dig gravel rocks along the railway tracks leading away from the station to a little grove of trees. Mining will continue until you have 4 quartz, 26 stone, and 8 dinas. Take a handful of tossing rocks and hold on to them. When you’re in the trees, grab any Desert Mushrooms you find and hold onto them.

Wolf Tooth Pendant

Gather 15 wood from the Wood Piles behind your workshop and head towards the shattered Windmill. If you wish, you can shatter tumbleweeds by dashing into them to save energy. Continue past the windmill, following the fence on the left, and jumping off the ledge to a cave entrance with two Rocket Roosters after you have 15 wood.

Continue into the cave entrance, along the passage, and turn left into a room when it splits into two paths. Parkour up the left side wall to a chest once inside the room. If you’d like to, get a Wolf Tooth Pendant.

Return To Yan

Don’t worry about anything else; you can return at a later date. Return to Yan in town by following the mission sign. Pick up any trash on the ground for Dregs while you’re in town. Send in your mission. To make Recycler, continue on to the next task.

2 stone troughs, 3 wood troughs, and 2 grinding saws. Return to Yan and hand in the mission. Sell the Wolf Tooth Pendant to the Commerce Guild Store while you’re inside (the cash register). You should now have 169 Gols in your possession.

Eufala Salvage

Instead of going to Register your Workshop, return to Eufala Salvage and enter the little structure there. Purchase 15 copper ore and 10 tin ore for 140 Gols at the inside shop register.

Return to the Workshop and use the Assembly Station to create a Furnace (4 x quartz, 2 × stone trough, 2 x wooden stick). Use Dregs or power stones as fuel to manufacture 5 x bronze bars. Keep looking for a way to register for your Workshop.

Arvio’s Shop

To receive a Simple Wooden Chair and a Silk Scarf, talk to Arvio (often running around town or at his shop, By the Stairs) and Vivi (often inside her house or at her shop, Tailor Made) while in town. Earn 100 XP by completing the brief fighting instruction with Pen.

Chests You Need To Collect

Head upstairs in the Town Hall and get the +5 Water chest after naming and registering your workshop. When you’re outside, look for the following chests:

  • The Miner’s Dorm chest (+100 gols)
  • Chest in the Church’s Rear (+50 gols)
  • Chest in the Stone Archway (+1 Diamond)
  • Aim carefully with one of the throwing rocks you picked up at the flying chest opposite the steps to the Research Center (+50 gols).
  • Near the barbershop, there’s a chest with +2 gold.
  • Blue Moon Saloon Balcony Chest (+50 gols)
  • Chest above Stable (with Bone Necklace)

Hurry over to Arvio’s shop and sell the Simple Wooden Chair, Silk Scarf, Bone Necklace, Diamond, and Gold Ore. You can sell Desert Mushrooms or a Shiny Scorpion if you got lucky and obtained a Shiny Scorpion drop instead of any of the following goods. You’ll require 550 gols.

Final Workshop Job

Purchase a Sharpening Stone and 2 x Copper Screws from Hammer Time. Return to your Workshop and replenish your water tank with the +5 water you discovered.

Carry on with your quest while waiting for your bronze to smelt. You can use the rest of your stamina to mine the salvage in the yard or around your workshop area once it has melted.

Congratulations on your Bronze Pickhammer!
