This is a crash fix guide for Need for Speed™ Hot Pursuit Remastered Crossplay. If you are facing crashing every time you load up the game by turning on crossplay, then this is the right guide for you. Read this to know what to do, if so.
How To Fix ‘Enable Crossplay’ Crash in NFS: HP Remastered
For those of you who have purchased Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, there is currently an issue plaguing several people. When you load up the game, it asks if you want to have Crossplay on. Most people would opt for yes. But the game crashes on cue. Find out how you can fix this issue.
1. Instead of choosing YES to enable cross-play, pick NO.
2. You should be able to make it to the main menu.
After you make it to the main menu, you should enable crossplay. It doesn’t seem that a lot of people run the game on PC, so enabling crossplay will allow you to find way more matches online.
To enable crossplay again, just do this:
1. Go to settings
2. Privacy Settings.
3. Crossplay – ON
4. This should fix crashing, and crossplay will be enabled.
We have provided two screenshots if you cannot find the crossplay settings for some reason.
