Outriders Worldslayer: Starting the game as an old player

The content for Outriders Worldslayer begins at the end of the base game of Outriders itself. Here’s how it begins:

  • If you have not finished the original campaign, you will have to complete it before starting with the Worldslayer campaign.
  • The first major difference has been the introduction of Apocalypse Tiers in place of World Tiers, so the items from the new tier will be available.
  • Therefore, the new difficulty level and prizes will match with the Apocalypse Tiers themselves.
  • If you have finished the original campaign, players can begin the Worldslayer story by heading for the Outriders Camp, which was the last point in the previous campaign. From here, you will get your Expeditions.

Having reached the Outriders Camp, players will get a new mission known as Omens. This will guide players to interact with Channa, which will mark the start of their DLC journey.

Old players will have the chance to auto-level till Level 30, therefore heading straight for Worldslayer stuff.

Outriders Worldslayer: Starting the game as a new player

New players in the game have a number of options. Just create a new character and start the old campaign, leveling up as you play on. Then it is just like old times, as you reach the Outriders Camp and talk with Channa before taking it from there.

However, there is also the option of auto-leveling up to Level 30, and skipping the original campaign fully. In this way, you can jump into the Worldslayer game as soon as you start. You will also have the choice of choosing either the prologue, main story, or Worldslayer.

Players going for the Prologue will start at the very beginning. The main story bypasses the Prologue. Finally, if you choose Worldslayer, you will miss out on all of the above. However, there is also the added bonus of playing the skipped content later on.

Thus, this is how players of both ilks can start the game and go on to bash some opponents.
