Best Graphics Settings In-Game⇓

These are the main graphics settings for Praey for the Gods. This is found in the options menu. There are sliders for the game instead of toggle options. Do the following tweaks for “Graphics” option:

  • Fullscreen Exclusive (best settings I found for this option unless you ALT-TAB frequently)
  • Resolution – Native (2560×1440 for me)
  • Quality Level – 50% (This is the overall graphics quality of Praey for the gods)
  • Particle Count – 60% (number of particles visible on the screen. You should keep this balanced)
  • Motion Blur – 0 (hogs a lot of FPS so ideally, keep this to the lowest)
  • Terrain Quality – 55-60% (Terrain textures are loaded depending on the slider. Balanced is fine here)
  • Physics Quality – 50% (Physics particle quality are adjusted using this setting)
  • Fur Shell Count – 70% (fur and shell count can be tweaked with this one)
  • Draw Distance – 35-40% (Distance from the intended goal in-game is made using draw distance. Keep this one to balanced as well)
  • Grass Draw Distance – 50% (Grass textures can take up some distance. But a balanced 50% won’t hurt at all)
  • Shadows – Off (Shadows take up most of the resources of turned on. I would highly suggest to keep this off unless you have high end system)
  • Shadow Distance and Resolution – 15%
  • Anti-Aliasing – Off (On if you have a medium-high end system and want to get rid of some jagged edges)
  • Depth of Field – Off (Off for the best FPS possible for medium level specs)
  • Chromatic Aberration – Off
  • V-sync – Off (if you face too much Frame jumps and jitters, you should turn this on to lock the FPS)

Results and Tips for More FPS⇓

Here is how the game look after applying the above settings and tweaks:

Praey for the Gods best graphics settings guide

The average FPS I was getting ranged from 68-75 FPS. The highest recorded was 95FPS and the lowest I got was around 65. These are decent results considering that I am running on an entry level system with lower GPU.

If you want more frame rates and you are running a lower processor and card, try to lower the quality sliders to 30-40% and turn on the Vsync if you facing too many FPS Jumps, That should hopefully resolve the issue.
