My System Specs Used To Test

I used a Ryzen 5 3600 as the testing Processor. This gives me a good balance to test out a lot of games. Using a high-end processor does not allow me to help a lot of people who mostly use a medium-end rig.

The RAM I used is XPG’s DDR4 sticks with a config of 8GB x 4. So a total of 32GB with a memory speed of 3000MHz. The Graphics Card in use was a GTX 1050TI 4GB OC.

Even though this graphics card has become an outdated one, or you can say an entry-level card, it is still in use by a lot of players out there.

The storage I used is an M.2 SSD with 500GB of storage. I always use Windows 10 64-bit OS for most of my games.

The game was tested for 900p, and I aimed to achieve 60FPS +

Results and Tips

With the above configuration, I was getting anywhere from 65-75 FPS in the game. In extremely heavy graphics scenes and environments, it was dropping to 58-60 FPS.

The game is optimized properly, hence I enjoyed most of my gameplay with the above settings. Take note that I use a Ryzen 5 3600.

If you have something like an i3 8100 or i5s old Gen Processor, make sure to dial down the shadows to low or medium. This will help you get well beyond 60FPS.

For high-end rigs like RTX 2060, 3060, 3070, or 3080, you can easily push the game to the maximum possible settings, and It won’t budge one bit.

I have seen such an optimized game on Steam after quite some time. Hence I can imagine the type of appreciation this game is getting so far. Do let me know how you are enjoying Tales of Arise as well.

  1. Thanks for the help. You’re the first person I’ve seen that has almost the exact same system specs as me, so this was very helpful.
Only difference I have is my monitor is a 65″ tv screen, but your settings seem to work fine for me.
I’m guessing you use a keyboard to play. I use a controller and the game is a little wonky with it. The sensitivity is way too high so camera angles veer wildly when I move them. The settings you suggest actually made that better somehow.
    Thanks again!
