My PC Specifications Used To Test

The OS I use for all my games is Windows 10 64 Bit. Unless I specify separately or forget to mention this, this is the default OS I always use. The Graphics Card I used to test this game was RTX 2060TI. I needed to test the effectiveness of the Ray Tracing features.

If you happen to use a lower-end GPU like 1060, 1660, 1650, or 1050TI, I will give some tips about it in the results and conclusion section. The Storage I used is an M.2 SSD with 500GB worth of space. A Memory of 32GB was used with a speed of 3000MHz.

Results and Conclusion

Now as I mentioned earlier, if you use cards like 1060, 1660, 1650, or 1050TI, lower the graphics from Low to Medium by all means. This will help you get the 60FPS mark very well. With the above rig, I got an average FPS of 85-90.

Hence I can conclude that the game is decently balanced, given that it is a 2021 game with Ray Tracing features. You can face certain stuttering issues.

Most of it would be the resolution or any other background/OS apps. If you need help with external settings, do let me know and I will make a separate post with that as well.

Overall you should run the game well with the above settings. If you run into any issues, do let me know in the comments below. I will try to troubleshoot it for you.

I hope this post will help you get decent Framerates along with good visual quality to actually enjoy The Ascent. Thanks for reading, and I will see you soon with a new one!
