How to change settings

  • If you have Hidden files in settings, make sure to “show hidden files and folders” in the Windows settings.
  • Now go to C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\SOFTSTAR\SWD7\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
  • Look for a file called GameUserSettings.ini
  • This is the Xuan-Yuan Sword VII settings files you need to tweak.
  • Look for a parameter called [ScalabilityGroups] then do the following for the shown parameters:

  • Here, the numbers after the parameters are the scalability of the settings. They are
  • 0 = OFF/VERY LOW, 1 = LOW, 2 = MED, and 3 = HIGH
  • Setting bDLSS to True should given you 90 – 150 FPS
  • Setting it to false will increase your base FPS to 100 – 180.

Make sure to save changes and put the file to “read only” before starting the game.
