Yakuza 6: The Song of Life | Best PC Graphics Settings

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life has finally been released for PC players on Steam and on the XBOX App. In this guide, we will take a look at the best graphics settings for the game.

Best PC Graphics Settings for Yakuza 6

These settings will help you increase FPS and make the game look smooth. You should expect a boost in performance and Frame Rates once you are finished tweaking.

  • Resolution – 1920×1080 (The native one for my monitor)
  • Refresh Rate – Native (144Hz for me)
  • Vertical Sync – On (I wanted to lock the game at the native refresh rate for my monitor)
  • FPS – 60 (This is fine for me, but if you face issues, you can unlock this)
  • FOV – +38
  • Texture Quality – Medium (A good balance of visual graphics quality and performance)
  • Texture Filtering – 8x
  • Shadow Quality – Low (Shadows tend to take up resources, hence I kept it low)
  • Geometry Quality – Medium
  • Realtime Reflections – Off
  • Motion Blur – Off
  • SSAO – On
  • Render Scale – 100
  • Anti-Aliasing – FXAA
  • Depth of Field – On
  • Letterbox Artworks – On
  • UI Layout Width Limit – 21:9
  • Middle Screen View Limit – Off

Here is how it looks after applying the above settings:

Results & Conclusion

With the above settings, I was able to maintain a steady 60 FPS with Capped. In graphically intense scenarios, it was dropping slightly, but no significant performance issues were there.

With a medium-grade setup, you can enjoy the game with the above system specs. To get more frames, you can turn off V-Sync, and lower the texture quality.

I would also recommend turning off the depth of field if you do not require it that much. The game is decently balanced, so you will not face many issues with the above tweaks.
