Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel came out in early 2022, and the hype around the game has gone up several levels as the days have gone by. Its developer, KONAMI, has held many special events focused on a type of card.
These ‘Exhibitions’ have all had different themes, and the latest one is just around the corner. It is titled the ‘Fusion Festival,’ and will be one of the grandest offerings as part of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel exhibitions.
The event is scheduled to take place on May 12. The following guide will help you with everything you need to know regarding Fusion Festival and its several exciting happenings.
What is expected from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Fusion Festival?
As has been the case with the previous festival events, every match will award players with Medals. Of course, a win will be more rewarding than a loss, as per the norms. Players playing with their deck of cards will get 500 medals per win, while 50 medals for each defeat.
However, there is also the option of playing with a deck loaned from KONAMI. There will be three types of decks a player can borrow, but the rewards will be less if you play with them. Therefore, players should be mindful of using their decks as much as possible because the more medals you earn, the better the awards later.

Coming to what is allowed and what is not, all types of Synchro, XYZ, and Link Monsters are outlawed. Moreover, the Predaplant Verte Anaconda, useful for calling Fusion Monsters, cannot be used either.
However, that is not all. Artifact Scythe, Dogmatika Ecclessia, and the Virtuous are cards that will find no place at the Fusion Festival. Players can play with the Eldlick, and Golden Lord decks, but it will be limited to a single copy during the entire festival.
