A Plague Tale: Requiem has finally been released for owners with XBOX Gamepass early. The game is also available for PC on XBOX Gamepass as well as on Steam. For Consoles, you can enjoy the game on Playstation as well. Requiem takes you on a journey of exploration and adventure unlike any other.
Along with the awesome storyline and visuals, you will also get the option to capture the screen as you wish. This can be done using a feature that is already available inside the game. You can do this using the Photo Mode for Plague Tale Requiem. I will show you how you can properly take a screenshot using this mode, and where you can find your screenshots on your system.
Screenshot Location and Guide for A Plague Tale: Requiem
To enter screenshot mode you need to press escape and go to “Photo Mode”. Once you find the perfect frame to take the photo or screenshot, set the values for it and save it by using “Enter”.
Now, what I want to clearly mention is that you need to hide the UI in order to take a clear and clean screenshot. If you do not hide the UI and start taking the screenshot, the UI will also be included in it so make sure to do that. To take a proper screenshot do the following:
- Press Esc
- Open Photo Mode
- Hold CTRL (By default) to hide the UI
- Press ENTER on your keyboard to take a screenshot
- You will hear a faint sound which indicates that the screenshot or photo has been taken
What are some of the Photo Mode Options?
These are some of the Photo Mode Options for you to try out:
Camera
- Tilt
- Depth of Field
- Near Focus Distance
- Chromatic Abberation
- Focal
- Exposure
Visibility – You can hide the following animals, persons, and elements in the photo mode:
- Amicia
- Hugo
- Companion
- Enemies
- Rats
- Other characters and animals
Adjustments
- Saturation
- Brightness
- Contrast
- Vignette
- Sharpen
- Grain
X Resets the UI, Use the mouse to navigate, Press Enter to capture, and CTRL to show or hide the UI.
Screenshot/Photomode Save Location
This is the Save location on your PC or system for the screenshots you take using photo mode in the game – This PC > Documents > My Games > A Plague Tale Requiem > Screenshots. Here is an example of a screenshot I took using the same method and settings I mentioned above:
Take your best photos and let me know how you are enjoying the photo mode as well. There are some options like depth of field and color saturation settings that need to be tested to get the full out of them. If you are a photo enthusiast like myself, these settings will intrigue you and make want to explore these options more.
To conclude, I want to say that the game is quite heavy and demanding on the system. Running it will be another task for your system in itself. if you do manage to run it, make sure to enjoy it to the fullest. Capture your best moments in game and let me know in the comments if you face any issues.
Thanks for dropping by!

Ughh!! I do not have the screenshot folder no matter what I do or how many screenshots I try to capture.
Are you sure you are looking in the correct place? if you have hidden view options in the windows settings, try to turn that off and check once again.
IT DIDNT WORK I CANT SEE MY SCREENSHOTS
It can be bugged for you I think. This is an issue that some players are currently facing.
I can’t find screenshots either. It’s really bugging me. I’ve made a lot of beautiful pictures and nothing.
