How to enter the codes
If there are any I missed, add them in the comments and I’ll update the list. There are two locations within the game menus where you’ll find a code entry screen, which will let you type in any of the codes listed above. The first way to do it is, you open the Holoprojector, move to the Extras tab then follow Enter Code prompt.
The second one is, that you enter the Pause Menu and select the key icon labeled Enter Code. If you enter the code correctly, you’ll receive a notification to confirm it has been accepted and reveal what has been unlocked. As with previous games, you’ll only need to enter each code once, which will permanently unlock the item.
Entering these codes does not remove the ability to earn achievements. I recommend, however, that you only unlock the code-exclusive items with cheat codes and unlock the rest through normal gameplay.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will I be able to still unlock achievements after using the codes on my save game?
A: Yes, using the codes in-game will not hinder you to get any achievement in the game. Even more so using these codes to get different variations on characters (e.g. Holiday Special) is encouraged as this would be the only option to get these in the game.
Q: Do I have to own the Deluxe Edition of the game to be able to use these codes?
A: No, you can use these codes regardless of the Edition or DLC you might already own.
Q: What does “Code-Exclusive” mean?
A: Code-Exclusive means that there is no other way to get this vehicle/character by playing the game, it’s only unlockable through the code. Every other vehicle/character not listed as Code-Exclusive is able to be unlocked in the game through playing.
Q: Will there be more codes released?
A: Probably. I will keep my eyes out for any codes popping up and I will add them as soon as possible to this list. If you find any code missing in this guide please let me know.
