Players immersed in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s Zombie Mode will have several missions on their plate. One of the more exciting missions is the Extraction, which will require you to use Dr. Jansen’s coordinates to finish it.
For those wondering how to go about the whole mission, the following guide will help players understand the different points along with what are the most essential stuff to know.
Modern Warfare 3: Complete Extraction Mission For Dr. Jansen
After players are done with the ‘Where’s Dr. Jansen’ mission, you will visit the location indicated by the coordinates after you land in Urzikstan.
Players will have to wait some time to get the coordinates reflected on the map via an exfil icon and a star. This is present on a different map and is the location players must reach.
How To Extract Dr. Jansen
The new map does not allow players to purchase or upgrade weapons or items. That is why you should be thoroughly ready in Urzikstan when you have to complete the mission.
Players should aim for a weapon with Rare attributes or Pack-a-Punch upgraded weapons. There are loot caches, Wallbuys, and Mystery boxes, with the last one containing the possibility of giving you Legendary weapons.
You should also focus on character perks by visiting the Perk-a-Cola Machines, with Deadshot Daquiri, Speed Cola, and Jugger-Nog being vitally important.
If possible, get a Zombie Pet Dog, and they will help you fight enemies and revive you when you are injured. All you have to do is to give a Chunk of Flesh and give it to a Doghouse.
Items like Ammo Mods, Ammo Circuit Boards, LT53 Kazimir, Cymbal Monkey, and more grenades will help, given the enemies present. You will also be heavily helped by a 2-Plate Armor Vest, while Armor Plates will get filled up after you exfil.
You should ideally join a squad to make your life easier. There’s also the chance of joining up before loading into Operation Deadbolt.
The advantage of squad members is that you will be able to travel larger distances so Dr. Jansen is safe at all times during the mission, along with taking out enemies fast.
The Dr. Jansen Mission Bug
The bug in the mission is that players are exfiltrated on their own to the Extraction Act 1 story mission after a different squad in the match starts it. It can even be started if one of your teammates has it present or finish earlier.
The bug can appear at any point in the game, so you can exfiltrate Dr. Jansen’s mission even while participating in a contract or emptying a stronghold.
Thus, that is all the information players will need when it comes to the exfiltrating mission of Dr. Jansen. Since there are two maps, you will have to get yourself ready in the proper manner. That is why the importance of a squad cannot be understated in the Zombie Mode.
