We all know how well Ubisoft has worked to release a hit game like AC Shadows. From breathtaking visuals to DLSS 4 support, it has it all. But majority players are finding it tough to sit and watch those long disclaimers and logo videos every time they launch the game.
Hence, in this short guide, we will see how you can skip intro videos, namely the disclaimer and logo animation videos in AC Shadows.
How to Skip Intro Videos in AC Shadows
First and foremost, you need to locate a particular folder, either from Ubisoft Connect or if it is Steam App, then from there.
For Ubisoft Users
- Click the three dots under the game title
- Hover on the Manage option and click on “Properties”
- Inside the “Installation” tab, click on “Open Folder”

For Steam Users
- Right-click on Assassin’s Creed Shadows
- Click on “Manage”
- Go to “Browse Local Files”
How To Disable or Skip Intro Videos
Disabling Warning/Disclaimer Videos
Either way, you will end up in the folder where AC Shadows is installed. Once you are inside this folder:
- Open the “Videos” Folder
- Now from this folder find the language in which you installed the game (“en” for us)
- Delete/ Move/ Rename those videos inside the folder
Disabling Logo and Intro Videos
Inside the Videos folder, simply type “ANV” and you should find a file starting with ANVIL_logo. Rename the file or move it somewhere else, and you should be able to skip the logo intro video as well:

Next look for a file starting with “INTEL_logo” and do the same process with this one as well
If you scroll to the bottom of that folder, you should find the “Ubisoft Logo” video. Delete or rename that as well.
The Final file to rename or delete starts with “HUB_BootFlow”. Locate this file and disable this as well.

Once you are done with the entire process, start Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and all the long loading screen with the videos should be smoothly skipped. This helps to boost load times significantly, and you do not have to sit and watch the same logo, disclaimer, and intro videos over and over again.
This is most handy when you are a person who is running benchmarks and has to come back and watch the same video repeatedly, which can get tiring after a point in time.
So that was all from this guide. Do leave your suggestions and comments below, and we will see you with a new AC Shadows guide soon.
