Destiny 2 | Buzzard: God Roll And How To Get

Buzzard is a legendary Destiny 2 sidearm that reappeared during the Season of Defiance. This is a kinetic weapon that excels in clearing clusters of low-level foes, making it great for removing adds. This post will explain how to obtain Buzzard in Destiny 2, as well as what to look for in a Buzzard god roll.

How To Get Buzzard & God Roll in Destiny 2

The Season of Defiance has arrived, as has the We Stand Unbroken quest. Completing The Variable and Unfinished Business will also provide access to two new weapons, the Vexcaliber and Deterministic Chaos. Look out for the Lost Sector and King’s Fall challenge rotation schedules!

Buzzard – How To Get

One of the Nightfall Weapons is the Buzzard. This gun can only be obtained by completing nightfalls while it is featured in the Weekly Nightfall Rotation. The Nightfall rotation features a new weapon every week.

Buzzard may drop from the chest after successful completion, but this is not guaranteed. The only proper way to harvest a Nightfall weapon is to run the Nightfall repeatedly. It is up to chance whether the weapon drops, but you can shift the scales in your favor.

The Nightfall weapon drops more frequently as the difficulty increases, from Rare at the lowest to Common at the highest.

You can also equip the Prosperity (Vanguard) Ghost mod. This increases the possibility that playlist strikes and Nightfalls will drop another legendary gear upon completion.

It’s never been confirmed that this includes the Nightfall weapons, but it appears to have an effect anecdotally.

Buzzard god role suggestion in Destiny 2

The best version of this weapon, or ‘god roll,’ focuses on perks that take advantage of the circumstance, which include rapid firing with sustained damage and provides weapon bonuses accordingly:

In Destiny 2, we recommend this Buzzard god roll:

  • Corkscrew Rifling
  • Armor Piercing Rounds
  • Perpetual Motion
  • Frenzy
  • Stunning Recovery

Corkscrew Rifling is a well-rounded barrel that improves range, a natural weakness for sidearms, and improves stability and handling. In short, this weapon gets easier to fire and more lethal from a distance.

Armour Piercing Rounds are an excellent complement to any sidearm. It boosts range, increases damage against opponent shields, and allows bullets to penetrate targets. In the right circumstances, this perk can cause densely packed groups of enemies to vanish in the blink of an eye.

Perpetual Motion activates and grants bonuses to stability, handling, and reload speed when the user is in motion. Buzzard is designed to be used vigorously and often, so these benefits are almost always active.

Anytime Frenzy is undoubtedly worth including whenever it is an option. Long periods of combat result in increased damage and significant benefits to handling and reload speed. When combined with the other benefits, you have a rock-solid weapon that shoots fast, strikes hard, and can fill exceptionally quickly.

Stunning Recovery is one of two Origin Traits that can be chosen. None of the solutions are particularly noteworthy. However, Stunning Recovery excels in specific circumstances.

Stunning a Champion with it will half refill your magazine, improve recovery, and activate health regeneration. It’s situational, but fighting Champions is precisely the type of situation when having an advantage comes in handy.

As always, once you’ve found your favorite roll, please upgrade it to a Masterwork to give it a stat increase, the ability to create Orbs on multi-kills, and the choice of a kill tracker!
