Destiny 2: Lightfall – How to get the Autumn Wind And God Rolls

There are many great weapons that players have been using throughout the new Season of Defiance in Destiny 2. One of the sleeper hits has been the Autumn Wind Kinetic Pulse Rifle having a great array of perks to be utilized for its god rolls.

You can use it across PvP and PvE combat, which has been the norm for most new weapons. In that regard, the following guide will help players in knowing more about Autumn Wind including the best god rolls to go with it.

Destiny 2: Lightfall – How to get the Autumn Wind Kinetic Pulse Rifle

Players will have just one path to acquiring the Autumn Wind which is via finishing Crucible matches that will give you engrams to rank up from Lord Shaxx. You can also get Autumn Wind as a world drop by playing PvP matches.

There is another way that includes going through Iron Banner that can speed up the process of getting the pulse rifle.

You will be having Autumn Wind with a Rapid-Fire Frame that will give you greater ammunition loads and decreases reloading time once the mag gets over.

The One Quiet Moment Origin Trait further enhances your Reload Speed when you are not involved in battles. These are the base stats for the Autumn Wind in Season of Defiance:

  • Range: 32
  • Handling: 25
  • Reload Speed: 34
  • Impact: 23
  • Stability: 47
  • Rounds Per Minute: 540

Destiny 2: Lightfall – What are the best rolls for the Autumn Wind

PvP

The main aim for players in either PvP or PvE combat will be to better the Range of Autumn Wind thereby translating to increased damage inflicted.

The barrel should be Hammer-Forged Rifling as it can really improve your Range without decreasing any other capacities of the weapon. For the magazine, go for Ricochet Rounds which will increase Stability and Range alongside transforming into bouncing ammunition.

The third column perk is perfect for Killing Wind which will give you Range (+20), Mobility (+50), and Handling (+40) after every kill you land for a period of five seconds.

You will be able to increase the time by racking up kills one after the other. The fourth-column perk is great with Rampage which ramps up damage from Autumn Wind by 33% for almost five seconds after getting three kills. Like Killing Wind, you will be able to reset them as well.

Destiny 2 - Lightfall - Autumn Wind PvE

PvE

During PvE combat, you will have to keep a close eye on bettering your Recoil alongside the Range of course.

The barrel has to be Arrowhead Brake which decreases the Recoil (-30) alongside increasing Handling (+10). As mentioned above, the Ricochet Rounds are the perfect ammunition as they increase Range and Stable by 10 and 5 points respectively.

When it comes to the third column perk in this arena, players have been achieving great success with the use of Demolitionist.

You will be eligible for Grenade energy after landing kills along with reloading Autumn Wind when you make use of the Grenade. The Void Warlock build makes the best use of this perk in Season of Defiance. You can also pair this with Starfire Warlock build.

For the fourth column perk, we are sticking with Rampage which gives you a staggered increase of 10%, 21%, and 33.1% respectively over the three kills.

Players have also been using Adrenaline Junkie to go with Demolitionist as it betters your damage inflicted by 33.3% and improves Handling (+20) for the same 4.5 seconds.

Thus, that is all the information players will need when it comes to the Autumn Wind and its best god rolls. You will have several chances to make the best use of it across Season of Defiance which will only improve your gameplay going forward.
