This will be a tutorial on tweaking MADDEN NFL 22 for Best Graphics Settings for PC. These settings will hopefully make your MADDEN 22 smoother than before and remove some lags and issues.
MADDEN NFL 22 – Best Graphics Settings for PC
These Madden 22 graphics settings are mainly to help you reach the 60 FPS mark. If you happen to have a low-end system like 1050ti, 1650, or 1060, you can still run this game but you would need to sacrifice some more graphics.
Madden NFL 22 Best Graphics Settings In-game⇓
These will be your main bread and butter Madden 22 best settings to tweak inside the game. Kindly follow the system specs used to get a better idea, later on:
Fullscreen Resolution
Native (I used 2560×1440)
Window Mode
Fullscreen (This should be set to fullscreen to avoid any fps drops. If you alt-tab too much, you can use the borderless window as well)
Antialiasing
FXAA (Keep this set to FXAA for smoother graphics. Otherwise there can be edges in-game)
Frame Rate
No Limits (If you have a laptop or 60Hz monitor, I recommend setting this to 60)
HDR
Off
Vsync
Off (for monitors not having free-sync or sync turn this ON)
Triple Buffering
Off (for monitors not having free-sync or gsync turn this ON)
DirectX Version
12.0 (old or low-end systems should opt for DirectX 11 here)
3D Grass, Bloom, SSAO, Depth Fog, Lens Flare, and DOF
- 3D Grass – ON
- Bloom – Off
- SSAO – Off
- Depth Fog – Off
- Lens Flare – Off
- High Res Circular DOF – Off
Mesh Quality
Medium (settings this to the other two has small differences. Medium seems more balanced here)
Shadow Quality
Medium (You will need shadows in this game for it to look good. Set this to low for entry-level systems)
Crowd Quality
Medium (This is the same as shadows, needed but not a must. Low if you want more FPS in Madden 22)
Windows System Settings and Tweaks for Madden NFL 22⇓
Here are certain changes you need to make in your OS or System for Madden 22 to work more efficiently. This will hopefully fetch you more fps and support your best settings for the game;
- Keep Game Mode ON: From the Windows search bar type game mode settings, and toggle that ON
- Keep OS updated: The latest versions of the Windows OS are optimized for a lot of games so keep it updated.
- Turn off the Xbox game bar: This can take up some resources in the background so ideally, keep this setting OFF
- Graphics Settings for Windows: Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling should be ON
- Change Power Plan: Change this to high performance from the Windows settings

More Tips To Increase FPS in Madden 22
A lot of players are struggling to run MADDEN NFL 22 at even a steady 60 FPS. Hopefully, these tweaks will enable you to achieve the 60 FPS mark and beyond. Do note that you need to meet the minimum specs so make sure you check that out as well.
I have already mentioned some tips to increase further FPS if you are struggling with it. Ideally do not use FXAA and turn it to OFF if you are on an entry-level system with lower specs.
You can also turn off Shadows and Textures to low if you want the most framerates from the game. These are up to personal preference and may need some testing to perform. Let me know in the comments below.
