The epic cartoon/superhero-crossover game, MultiVersus, has proved to be a major hit with players. It has been very positively received, despite the lag issue cropping up. Players have many of their old favorite heroes as characters.
You have four to start with: Harley Quinn, Jake the Dog, Shaggy, and Tazmanian Devil. Players can unlock the rest of them by using the resources they accumulate.
One of the characters is the Iron Giant, which is a big robot tank. The following guide will help players in going about unlocking the Iron Giant in MultiVersus.
MultiVersus: Earning gold for Iron Giant
Instead of using real money, the freeway is to keep collecting Gold, the in-game currency. You will get Gold by participating in public matches.
Keep leveling up after finishing and winning matches to earn more Gold throughout the game. Players can earn 350 Gold if they level up and win a best-of-three match by going all the rounds.

However, if you lose, you will still get 40-100 Gold. It depends on a number of factors that will influence the final amount. You will not earn Gold by playing in Custom Games.
Additionally, players can also get Gold by finishing Missions. There are some easy ones, to begin with which will award you around 3,000 Gold, the amount needed for Batman. However, it will not be enough for the Iron Giant, who costs exactly 3,000 Gold.
MultiVersus: Using Gleamium
The quicker way to unlock Iron Giant is the paid track of using Gleamium. It is also an in-game currency that comes in different bundles, and discounts if you purchase the bigger packs.
You will need around 700 Gleamium to have the Iron Giant at his cost of 3,000 Gold. Similarly, Gleamium can also be spent on cosmetic items in the game.
MultiVersus: Founders Packs
The last way to get a character unlocked is the Founders Packs. You will have to spend real money and can expect to find Character Tokens.
These will automatically unlock the respective characters in the game. The smallest pack has 15 Character Tokens, while the biggest has 30 Tokens.
Needless to say, if you buy the latter, most of the characters in MultiVerse will be available for usage. Founders Packs also have Gleamium that you can use for other things.
The Iron Giant is the biggest character in the game. His passive ability is Flight and uses his rockets boots to launch in front of others. Though he cannot do a double jump, other characters can jump on his shoulder using Wall Cling.
However, make sure to check the fuel meter as it will be limited while flying. There’s a Rage meter too, which betters the damage inflicted and makes you immune to knockback.
Thus, that is all players need to know about unlocking Iron Giant through various methods. Depending on your needs, you choose amongst a number of them as it best suits you.
