Need for Speed: Heat is the latest installation in the famous NFS franchise. This time they promise more action, GFX, and adrenaline-pumping racing and driving mechanics in the game.

Releasing on the 5th of November for origin premiere owners and the 8th of November being the official release date for the game, a lot is on the line for the devs.

2. UPDATE YOUR GRAPHICS DRIVER

As you may have noticed, NVIDIA and AMD release drivers specifically to optimize particular games. And when the title is a AAA one like NFS heat, it is ought to happen. So make sure you download the latest GFX drivers from their official site.

3. Change Graphics Settings for NFS Heat (NVIDIA and AMD)

4. UPDATING WINDOWS 10 to the latest version

Windows release specific updates to smoothen and fix the gameplay experience. So make sure you have windows assistant on and use that to update your OS to the latest one.

5. DISCORD TWEAKS

Turn off hardware acceleration for discord. This is meant to smoothen the discord but it is specifically mentioned to turn it off if you face FPS or game lag issues.

  • Settings > Appearance > under advanced tab, Hardware Acceleration > Turn it off
  • Turn off the overlay for discord. This can also fix some FPS and performance issues with the game.

6. DISABLING OVERCLOCK
