Open the Windows search box and type in the “intl.cpl” command. Click on it and choose the English (United States) language before applying the change.
Allow game through antivirus and Windows Security.
If you have third-party software, choose the game to be excluded from the list of apps to be blocked or checked every time. For those running Windows Security, go to your security settings (Update & Security for Windows 10 and Privacy for Windows 11). On your left, you will find Windows Security, and click on it.
Get inside Virus and Threat protection. Scroll down to find the manage ransomware protection option. There is an option to allow an app, and you must add Party Animals from the game folder. After you are done, go to your Control Panel and inside System Security.
Choose Windows Defender Firewall and click “Allow an app or feature…” Choose the game.exe file and click OK.
Verify the integrity of game files.
Open your Steam Library and right-click on Party Animals. Choose the ‘Properties‘ option and enter the ‘Installed Files‘ column. Select ‘Verify integrity of game files.’
Play the game as an administrator.
Right-click on the game in your Steam Library and choose ‘Browse local files‘ from the Management option. Right-click on the .exe file and select Properties.
Under the Compatibility tab, tick mark the option to ‘Run this program as an administrator.’ Select Apply to save changes.
Run the following commands in the Command Prompt.
Open up your Command Prompt option from the Search menu and type in these, one after the other. Execute them individually by pressing the Enter key after each one.

After you are done, restart your computer and start the game.
- Resetting your Network: Go to the Settings: Open Network and Internet options. Choose Network Reset, and after it is done, you have to reenter your WIFI password, so make sure you save it beforehand.
- Switching network: You can connect to a different connection for the internet if you have it available.
- Using Ethernet connection: You can use a wired network connection instead of wireless WIFI.
- Updating your Windows: Check for the updates to your system, if any are available, and install them.
