Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – How to Manually Save the Game and Progress

The release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been met with positive reviews as the franchise’s latest action-adventure game. You will have a lot of things to do and stuff to collect as you progress through the missions. While a lot of things are going well, there is one feature that has been upsetting players.

It is the save option in the game, with manual saving seemingly absent. On the other hand, the auto-save option is also not great, so there are some lapses in your journey being saved accurately. In that regard, the following guide will help players in keeping the game properly to record all progress.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – How to Manually Save the Game

One thing that every good game should have is the ability to save all the progress. That can mean your efforts go to waste if you suddenly die or the game crashes unexpectedly. You may be taken back to a random save point which sets you back by a long distance.

Now, the question arises, if you do not have a solid save option, what is there to be done? Well, there is one thing that players can attempt in Stars Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor - Meditation Points

The game allows you to check the most recent save made by it when you go into the Quit tab in the Options menu at the top corner of the navigation bar. Players with the time-save feature should be cautious about where they are clicking as. Otherwise, the game will stop suddenly.

Players will want to keep a close eye on Meditation Points, which can be recognized by shining beams of light and a rune design on the ground. These points will have aspects of the game like Perks, Skills, Fast Travel, and saving your game automatically by simply interacting with it. This is the safest way to save your progress in the game currently.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – What is the autosave feature

The game has an autosave option, which occurs once a cutscene happens or a new screen loads. Nevertheless, it is not always perfect since autosave often does not work, especially if you have previously viewed the cutscenes in that area.

A save symbol will appear on the screen’s bottom-right when autosave takes place, while the words “Game Saved” appear at the top-left when the autosave happens through a Meditation Point. These two will be your indicators that your progress has been saved in the game, so there will be no missteps in the future.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – Are there multiple saves in the game?

There are multiple save slots present in the game, but the feature is nothing to rave about. Players will not be able to have multiple save files for the same playthrough, which will stop them from achieving something different in the same path.

Therefore, players who want to play some part of the game once again or experience another skill tree will have to use a brand new file right from the start instead of using a saved file.

Thus, that is all the information players will need regarding the saving feature of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The game is a good play, of course, but the lack of being able to save different game files on a manual basis is often frustrating.

The developers have not added the feature to this AAA game, a rare absence. We may not have the presence or time to keep going back to the Meditation Points present at different areas of the game.
