Players running through the Phantom Liberty DLC of Cyberpunk 2077 and have reached the end will encounter “The Killing Moon” mission. It is one of the most consequential missions in the game, with some significant decisions for you to make.

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty: Should You Eliminate Solomon Reed Or Take His Offer
The central point comes when players have to choose whether to take up the deal offered by Solomon Reed or take him out. It is preceded by the “Firestarter” mission, where you must team up with Songbird to start “The Killing Moon.”
You will be traveling to the NUSA transport ship but will find out it has been a lie from her side. Now, you can dial Reed and reveal the truth or see what transpires ahead.

When you are on the train, players can either “Pick Up Songbird” or “Call Reed.” If you choose not to call Reed, head over to the ship, and you will meet Reed, who usually is present. Even if you decide to contact him or not, there will be no issue with the endings available for players.
Calling Solomon Reed
Reed will agree to help you search for the cure if you call him and will open up many options. You will have the choice of making a deal with Reed, letting go of Songbird (and rejecting the cure), or canceling the full deal. All three options have some ramifications for the new ending of Phantom Liberty.
Taking Reed’s complete deal
If you take up the complete “Deal,” you will get the ending when Reed tells Songbird he will look for a cure and strap her onto the ship before leaving. Nevertheless, the final ending is unavailable after this, but you can visit DC for the surgery.
Rejecting Reed’s cure deal
Players who hand over Songbird without taking the cure will meet a similar fate as to the previous one. You will also get the chance of not taking the complete offer, which will make the “Kill Reed” option appear. The choices you will see will be termed “Draw Weapon” and “Holster Weapon,” which can come up with various other options.
Eliminating Solomon Reed
Selecting “Draw Weapon” sets you on the path of taking Reed down quicker than he can fire at you. This will mean no mission after the game, and you will only have to put Songbird on the ship before interacting with Johnny during the credits scene.
There is no chance of getting the “Through Pain To Heaven” mission, so it appears that most players will do a different route to see the real ending in store.
