DEATHLOOP – Best Graphics Settings for FPS

In this performance guide, I will be going over the best settings you can do for Deathloop. These settings will hopefully enable you to enjoy the game more with a decent frame rate.

The game itself is very demanding so make sure you meet the minimum and recommended system specs for the game. Also, check the rig I use to get a proper idea of how it may run on your system.

DEATHLOOP is a next-gen first-person shooter from Arkane Lyon, the award-winning studio behind Dishonored. In DEATHLOOP, two rival assassins are trapped in a mysterious time loop on the island of Blackreef, doomed to repeat the same day for eternity.

As Colt, the only chance for escape is to end the cycle by assassinating eight key targets before the day resets. Learn from each cycle – try new paths, gather intel, and find new weapons and abilities. Do whatever it takes to break the loop. That was a brief Gist of the game. Now let us take a look at the settings.

My PC Specs Used

The CPU I used is a Ryzen 5 3600 which helps me to test such games where the hardware demand is decent. I use a GTX 1660 6GB for Graphics Card. This has now become the entry-level card, given the increase in game hardware demands.

The RAM I use is a 32GB DDR4 with a 3000MHz clock speed. I use X-AMP to get the full speed since my motherboard supports it. The Operating system I used is Windows 10 [64 Bit] and the storage for this test is 500 GB M.2 SSD.

Results and Tips

The game ran fine with the above settings. As I mentioned above, running this game on a 1050TI or a lower-end CPU is very tough and you need to sacrifice a lot in order to do that. I would NOT recommend that you run this game on anything lower than a 1650 or 1060.

For those who have an RTX rig with Ryzen 7 or i7 overclocked processors, you can dial up the textures and details to high, but keep the shadows to Low. This will help you churn out more FPS since shadows take up a lot of resources to render.

Even though the game is very heavy, it runs decently on medium to high-end rigs. This one is definitely not the game to play on all low or on a lower-end rig. Do let me know if you are facing certain issues in running the game, or cannot launch the game in its entirety.

I will try to aid you to the best possible abilities. If you need help with the panel settings for AMD and NVIDIA, let me know in the comments below. I will make a separate post regarding that. Also, let me know how you are enjoying the game.

Thanks for reading the post, and I will see you soon with more of such content.
