Destiny 2: Lightfall – How To Get Rufus’s Fury And God Rolls

There are several great weapons to use in Destiny 2’s new Season of Defiance and the Lightfall expansion. One of the most special pieces is Rufus’s Fury Legendary Auto Rifle which is only part of the Roots of Nightmares mega raid.

Players will be able to have some great builds for the rifle in both PvP and PvE activities. You will find several strengths of the weapon, given its superb power and that is why there is great fanfare surrounding it. In that regard, the following guide will help players in acquiring Rufus’s Fury and the best god rolls for the same.

Destiny 2: Lightfall – How to get Rufus’s Fury Legendary Auto Rifle

You will have to get the Lightfall expansion before making up or joining a Fireteam in order to take down Nezarec and his group of Black Fleets. There is no surety of getting Rufus’s Fury through a rate of dropping, but larger rewards from Root of Nightmares will be able to give you. You will have the chance of acquiring Rufus’s Fury at two key points of the super raid.

The best possibilities for getting Rufus’s Fury are the third and last encounters of the raid. That means the battles against Zo’aurc, Explicator of Planets, and Nezarec, Final God of Pain. As mentioned above, you are not guaranteed to receive the weapon at a particular time so you may have to play through the raid several times.

After you gather five copies of the Deepsight along with the patterns, you will be eligible to craft it at The Enclave. Rufus’s Fury has a Rapid-Fire Frame along with the basic Origin Trait of Harmony Resonance. Here are the base stats of Rufus’s Fury:

  • Stability: 58
  • Recoil: 56
  • Range: 34
  • Impact: 18
  • Handling: 41
  • RPM: 720
  • Reload speed: 1.99s
  • Magazine: 55

PvE

For the barrel, players can opt for Arrowhead Brake which decreases Recoil (+30) and increases Handling (+10). High-Caliber Rounds for the magazine enhance Range (+5). The third and fourth-column perks have a great variety of options. For the third column, players can choose Reconstruction which extends your magazine, meaning you can fire over 100 bullets with no reload necessary.

You will have a full-proof option with this one. Hatchling has become the favorite of players across weapons and that is no exception here. The Strand build will boost it and the spawning of Threadlings will help players in taking down enemies on a much larger basis.

PvP

When it comes to PvP, players can stick with the aforementioned Arrowhead Brake and High-Caliber Rounds for barrel and magazine respectively. They will be of great help during endgame activities like Crucible and others.

The third column can go ahead with Perpetual Motion which increases handling, stability and reload speed whenever you are moving around with Rufus’s Fury. Tap the Trigger can be a good option for the fourth column perk as it gives you a short burst of accuracy and stability after hitting the trigger.

Whichever way you end up, with some other perks as well, this weapon is sure to give you the best of both worlds. Thus, that is all the information players will need when it comes to Rufus’s Fury rifle. Given its special nature in terms of getting it, you will be in good stead for getting it quickly in the game.

While the grind can seem a struggle for large parts, make sure you are able to do the basics correctly which will help you gain it quickly.
