The recent release of Ghostwire: Tokyo for Xbox, along with the Spider’s Thread DLC, has captured the attention of fans again. Players will be taking on Yokai and need all the help they can get.
Prayer Beads will be one good ally in this department, as they can change your fortunes during fights. Players must explore the streets well to gather the Prayer Beads; they will be great when the time comes.
In that regard, the following guide will help players collect Prayer Beads of different types and what they do in the game.
Ghostwire: Tokyo – How to find the best Prayer Beads and what are they used for
Prayer Beads are primarily found in Shrines that have been cleansed and are present all around Tokyo. You will find them as rewards for finishing the main route and expanding the map in other ways besides removing the fog.
Players will have to manually go and collect them as they do not directly come to you. Some Prayer Beads are part of Nekomata and are prizes for finishing a set number of Relic Requests.
Some more Prayer Beads can be obtained by getting the Hero of Tokyo Achievement and absorbing 240,300 Spirits, the total number present in the game.
Prayers Beads are the major customizable gear in the game. They are mighty and change how you approach the game through battle buffs and other utility choices.
You will start wearing a single set of Prayer Beads from Chapter Two. Players must invest in Skill Points and Magatama to get to three sets together.
Hunt for KK Investigation Notes if you are facing a shortage of Skill Points, as they give 20 for each note, with 20 notes you can look for.
Ghostwire: Tokyo – What are the different kinds of Prayer Beads
Spirit Perception Beads
The two Spiritual Perception Beads can be found by cleansing Hitani Shrine and the Saitama Building Rooftop Torii Gate. Both will give you a blue trail, taking you to any Spirits around 100 and 200 meters, respectively.
This is very helpful because leveling up in the game is not easy. EXP is not enough, even around a few enemies, so the best way is to cleanse spirits.
When players use the Spectral Vision, they get the spirits, and the beads will only make the process more potent as more spirits mean quicker leveling up.
Aqua Beads
Three such beads are available through cleansing the Toyoi Shrine, Kappagaike Shrine, and Yamaki Shrine, one after the other. All the Aqua Beads will improve your Offensive Power of Water Weaves by 20%, 40%, and 60%, respectively.
Players should use water heavily throughout the game, as it inflicts much damage. You can find it all the time and can strike many opponents. This weave in the game is fundamental, so enhancing them is good. The Aqua Beads will be very handy.
Sleuth Beads
The three shrines for the Sleuth Beads are Hirokawa Shrine, Shiratsuki Shrine, and Onten Shrine. Each will take you to any KK Investigation Notes present around 100, 200, and 300 meters through a green trail.
Players will have difficulty searching for the notes, so having the Sleuth Beads is perfect. Of course, you will outlast their usage after all the notes are found.
Flame Beads
Players must cleanse the Kirigaoka Shrine, Mikubo Shrine, and Akitsu Shrine for the three beads. Like the Aqua Beads with water, the Flame Beads improve your Offensive Power of Fire Weaves by 20%, 40%, and 60%, respectively.
The Flame weaving in the slow-charged AOE fireball will have a potent attack with less fire. The fireball will be much stronger with the Flame Beads, decreasing the number of fireballs needed.
Talisman Beads
The two Talisman Beads can be found by cleansing the Monokane Building Rooftop Torii Gate and Shimokusa Shrine. The first bead will enhance the duration of the effect of Stun/Thicket Talismans by 150% and the range of Exposure and Decoy Talismans by 150%.
It becomes 200% with the second bead. Talismans are pricey, so that players may have been avoiding them. Talisman Beads are the solution here as they better your Talismans, but you will not have to spend more. A win-win for both sides.
Thus, that is all the information players need regarding the various kinds of beads in Ghostwire: Tokyo. It would be best if you tried getting their hands on them as soon as possible since you will significantly benefit from them, no matter the scenario in the game.
