One of the most famous creations of players in LEGO Fortnite has been the car to travel around. However, there is a noticeable difficulty here: the absence of the steering wheel in the game.
You cannot change directions or go in reverse for now, but it is still a joyous experience. In that regard, the following guide will help players craft a car in LEGO Fortnite.
LEGO Fortnite: How To Build A Steering Car
We begin with our Dynamic Foundation wooden base, which will serve as the car’s body. The steering above problem can be avoided cleverly, as we will see. Make sure you are using the snap function.
- Put a Castle Half Wall towards the edge of one end and three Castle Corner pillars in front of the wall.
- You will have to place a lot of structures atop each other and then demolish the lower one, as the game will recognize the part that remains as a different structure.
- This will significantly help you use your thrusters, but you must safeguard them by placing two beams, a small Foundation piece, and Rustic Floors over them.
The thrusters cannot move the floors, so you will have no worries there when you are traveling. You will have to be careful when you are moving since some objects are always waiting to wreck you.
- Put two Yellow Walls in the two spaces of Castle Corners and place Elegant Railings in front of them (4 in total)
- Climb atop the railings and place one Castle Corner on each Yellow Wall.
- Come back down and place a Castle Half Wall each in front of the railings with a bit of space between them.
- Go back up, place two Castle Floors on the tall towers, and ensure they are joined.
- Apply the Small Thrusters just underneath the Castle Floors so they are part of the Castle Corner (one for each)
- Place an Activation Switch each for the Small Thrusters
- Now, demolish the two Yellow Walls so the remaining structure falls one by one within the Elegant Railings
- Break the Castle Half Walls as well and reconstruct them in such a way that the Activation Switches are not covered
- Place Wooden Foundations on top of each of them (two boxes each)
- Climb above and place a couple of Rustic Floors each that will be connected to the Wooden Foundations
Once the basic structure is set, you can start customizing yours with other fancy stuff like Adorned Railings or similar items.
Afterward, head to the back of the side where the activation switches are and place a large thruster and an activation switch attached to the dynamic foundation.
The final step is attaching four Large Wheels to your car, which is now ready to roll on the road. Players can alternate between the directions by using the Small Thrusters that are present already.
Thus, that is all the information players will need when it comes to building a car and steering it in LEGO Fortnite. It is not the best of solutions, but we will have to hold till the steering wheel arrives in the game.
