Players of Disney Dreamlight Valley are rejoicing immensely with the release of the Pride of the Valley update. Not only are there several exciting additions to the beloved game, players will also be able to meet two new characters in Simba and Nala.
As with every character in the game, there are specific friendship quests for both of them, with The Great Gathering being the second one for Simba. It will be available after players get to Friendship Level 4 with Simba, and the following guide will help you complete the quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to complete The Great Gathering Quest
Players must also unlock Remy, Minnie Mouse, and Maui before proceeding with this quest. Nevertheless, it is not very easy to go about as players will be asked to make two separate recipes, send out invitations, feed critters, and find frenzy.
The quest will begin by interacting with Simba, who wants to have a party. Remy will have the food menu for the party, which will have two items: Aurora’s Cake and a Large Seafood Platter. As Remy does not recall the recipe, players must make the two dishes.

The cake is a five-star dish which means five separate items are required to make it. These are Wheat, Milk, Eggs, Sugarcane, and fruit.
Sugarcane
Players can buy sugarcane seeds from Goofy’s Stall at Dazzle Beach for five Star Coins. They will take seven minutes to grow into full canes.
Wheat
Wheat seeds are also from Goofy’s Stall but the one at Peaceful Meadows for one Star Coin.
Milk
It costs 250 Star Coins when you buy it from Chez Remy’s pantry.
Any fruit
Players can use any fruit they possess or get apples in the Plaza biome, which is the easiest to find.
Eggs
Like Milk, eggs are available at Chez Remy’s pantry for 250 Star Coins.
Regarding the Large Seafood Platter, players must gather four pieces of a seafood ingredient and a single lemon. Oysters, Scallops, and Clams are present at Dazzle Beach while Lemons are available in the Forest of Valor or Glade of Trust biomes.

After the food is ready, Simba will hand you the No Worries Banquet furniture item that players have to place it in a perfect place for the party. Once you have it, go to the Furniture tab and select it to have the table ready.
You can now send out the invitations to Maui, Minnie, and Goofy on behalf of Simba.
After all of this, players can see Simba and Nala talk, with the former apologizing to the latter. After it finishes, you will have to speak with Simba and get the task of harvesting nine Carrots at the Peaceful Meadows biome plus feed five critters wherever you find them.
Players must carry specific food for the critters, like rabbits, squirrels, and raccoons. There are different ways of getting close to and feeding them in the game. Carrots are easy to be planted, and you have to water them a little so they begin to grow.
Once completed, players will be prompted to talk to Nala about her previous chat with Simba. Afterward, players will return to Simba and tell him about their chat with Nala. That is all there is to finish The Great Gathering quest.
