Best In-Game Graphics Settings for Remnant 2

These tweaks were made after some amount of testing, and these are subjective settings that can change as per your preference. I will also list down the system specs I used to test Remnant 2:

  • Display Mode: Fullscreen (I keep this fullscreen just to be on the safer side of things)
  • Motion Blur: Off (Motion blur takes up decent FPS, and I want to optimize the game, so I kept this OFF)
  • VSync: On (My aim was to get 60 FPS with the system, hence I kept VSYNC ON for testing purposes. You can keep it OFF if you do not face screen tearing)
  • Framerate: 60 (The same reason as above and also due to the fact that I wanted to see 60FPS @1080p)
  • Upscaler: Intel XeSS (This is personal preference, but Intex XeSS worked best for me)
  • Upscaler Quality: Quality/Balanced (My upscaling was based purely on quality since other options were not doing justice to the graphics)
  • Shadow Quality: Low (These were low since shadows can be CPU intensive, and I wanted to keep it to a minimum)
  • Post Processing: Low (The lower the Post Processing, the less load on the GPU and more FPS I could churn out)
  • Foliage Quality: Low
  • Effects Quality: Medium (Effects are optional, and you can pick the high option as well.)
  • View Distance Quality: Medium
  • FOV Modifier: 1
  • Minimize Input Latency: On

Results and Tips for More FPS

Here are my results for the above settings and testing:

Average FPS Recorded58-60 FPS
GPU Temperature (Average)72 degrees

With the above testing rig and settings, I was managing a stable 60FPS, with rare drops from 60 to 57FPS. For most parts of the game, you can expect to maintain the 60 mark with ease.

Some other adjustments you can make are:

  1. View Distance Quality: Medium – Change this to Low
  2. Effects Quality: Medium – Switch to Low
  3. Upscaler Quality: Quality – change this to Balanced

The above settings are for those people who are still struggling to maintain the 60FPS mark at 1080p. Other than that, for the updated systems, this game runs just fine, and you can also turn up some quality and shadow settings to high, and you will be fine.

That would be all from this guide on the best graphics settings for Remnant 2 for FPS. Thanks for reading, and leave your suggestions and questions in the comments below!
