The aquatic theme of Destiny 2‘s new Season of the Deep has gotten players fishing and fighting underwater in the early days after the launch. You will be facing hordes of enemies in a challenging environment with several new additions.
Players will have a new Dungeon, and a couple of playlists termed Deep Dives and Salvage. You will be getting a lot of rewards from them as you grind through, and the following guide will help players know all about Deep Dives playlist activity.
Destiny 2: Season of the Deep – How to finish Deep Dives playlist activity
Players can access the Deep Dives activity via a node inside the H.E.L.M. on the director. It will need three players as a team, so you can either have a fireteam with your friends or let the game choose your partners if you are going at it solo. Your main focus will be to farm Egregore Coral and win some great rewards in the process.
Every Deep Dive will begin with Ahsa, the vast Leviathan, getting you presents. You will get buffs, Kinetic weapon damage, and melee energy regeneration. As the pathway to the underground unlocks, get inside, and you will drop into an area with no fighting.
Pay special attention to the “Pressure Resistance” meter to your left since you will have to collect the several air bubbles around you so you do not suffocate and die at the end.
Unlock the doors using a couple of switches present and then move into the crucial parts of the overall Deep Dive mission. This will be the maiden fighting area, and you will be swarmed with enemies once you reach it.
Players have to finish a specific job and take down Servitors, who will leave batteries for you to recharge your Egregore probe as you delve deeper into the mission. You can also interact with Taken orbs for an optional objective completion.
This will bring you a third-tier award present within a second chest after the mission finishes. After you interact with the orbs, there will be Taken spots present on the floor that you will have to locate. Stand on the spots and you will see the text “Excising Pressured Blight” when you do it correctly.
After you are done with this, there is the final section of the mission, where the big boss awaits. It is a Fallen Servitor, J4W-S, and you must complete three phases. Each phase will require you to empty the boss’s health by going to different locations through transportation and taking down the mini Servitors around. Once you do this three times, you can defeat the big boss.
In the end, you will be rewarded with several chests. Players carrying a Deep Dive Key will get even more additional rewards. This is one of the most well-played activities players can focus on to earn good prizes.
Thus, that is all the information players will need regarding the Deep Dive playlist activity. You can manage it well on the first try since it is very straightforward. With three players together, there will be enough loot for everyone.
